Will Oberton joined Fastenal in 1980 as a part-time warehouse worker. Since then he has served in various sales, operational, and management roles, including chief operating officer (March 1997 through December 2002), vice president (March 1997 through June 2000), executive vice president (June 2000 through July 2001), and company president (July 2001 through July 2012). He has served as CEO since December 2002 and has been a company director since June 1999.
